In this video, MMA Guru breaks down how the UFC seems to be running interference on Tom Aspinall during UFC 309 fight week. Aspinall, the interim heavyweight champ, was prevented from attending the press conference and ceremonial weigh-ins, not even allowed as a spectator. The situation got even more suspicious when Aspinall’s mic conveniently “cut out” during a weigh-in show interview right as he started discussing Jones potentially ducking him.
Making things more obvious, Jones straight up walked out of a scheduled interview after hearing the journalist’s English accent, assuming correctly they’d ask Aspinall-related questions.
And we’ve been waiting for Tom’s interview with Guru; Guru’s been trying to get an interview with Tom all week, but he keeps getting delayed by random “obligations” like NBA games that the UFC suddenly requires Tom to attend.
Guru’s scheduled to finally get the interview tomorrow morning, but we’re skeptical this happens before UFC 309.
