With no hype (other than Stipe referring to Jon Jones as a bitch) headed into 309, MMA Guru thinks Jon Jones may be so obviously ducking Tom Aspinall to bait Guru into even more media coverage.
Jon Jones is now suggesting he voluntarily relinquish the heavyweight belt and fight Alex Pereira, an electric 205er who he knows he has a significant ground advantage over, and fight for a made up BMF belt.
So Jones doesn’t want to fight the interim heavyweight champion, but he is willing to give up his heavyweight belt so he can fight for a made up belt.
That’s about as anti-BMF as it gets.
The generational ducking continues and this will stay with Jon’s legacy.
